乘坐電梯抵達八十五樓，迎面而來的是帶有裝飾藝術風格的 85TD 品牌符號，深邃的黃銅拱形門廊彷彿時空隧道。鏡面地坪與牆面映照出川流人影與光線，形塑出華麗的視覺效果。此段進場的空間壓縮為設計師的巧思，期望讓顧客在視覺收斂後進入大廳，與接續而來的風景形成對比，強化「由小到大」的空間節奏。

進入大廳主場域，以橫向堆疊、循序推移的環形金屬簾造型作為天花版核心視覺，彷彿繚繞天際的雲霧；縱向垂落的金屬簾幕在燈光轉換中，則猶如從空中流瀉的金色瀑布。這樣的設計不僅為開放場域做出區域分界，也巧妙地柔化了原始建築樓板的限制。

在包廂設計中，設計師以台灣高山為靈感原型，將山岳的氣質、地貌與光影轉譯為空間設計，讓 85TD 不僅止於繁華城市的高空餐敘空間，而是以更宏觀的視野傳達空間與島嶼地景之間的連結。六間包廂分別為玉山、雪山、大霸山、奇萊山、南華山與稍來山，各自發展出壯麗、獨特的表情。

舉例來說：玉山包廂以綠意叢林質感牆面與墨綠色天然大理石為主體，搭配象徵東方語彙的燈籠吊燈，打造沉穩、尊榮的氛圍感。天花版鏡面設計延伸、放大了空間視覺，大面積市景山水環繞映襯，烘托出第一高峰的磅礴氣勢。

奇萊包廂則是以黑、灰礦岩質地為基底，主桌和壁面選用黑中帶有金屬紋理的奢石，呼應「黑色奇萊」的峻峭稜線與紋理，展現冷峻、充滿力量的山性語彙。

整體材質選擇特意克制，以深色石材、古銅金屬、暖色軟裝為主元素，在沉穩基調中展現雅奢與大器。黑色大理石搭配銅件的金色紋理，展現細膩內斂的奢華質感；木質門面細節採用弧線雕刻與山形紋樣，呼應自然地景意象；深綠絲絨卡座與棕色皮椅則在冷色石材間注入溫度，讓用餐氛圍高端卻不顯冰冷。

Upon arriving at the 85th floor by elevator, guests are greeted by the 85TD brand emblem rendered in an Art Deco language. A deep brass arched portal unfolds like a passage through time. Dark mirrored flooring and wall surfaces reflect flowing silhouettes and shifting light, creating a dramatic and opulent visual effect. The deliberate spatial compression at the entrance serves as a prelude—allowing the eye to contract before opening into the grand hall beyond—intensifying the spatial rhythm of transition from intimate to expansive.

Entering the main hall, a horizontally layered and gradually cascading circular metal screen forms the central ceiling statement, reminiscent of mist drifting across the sky. Vertically suspended metallic curtains shimmer under changing light, evoking a golden waterfall descending from above. Beyond defining zones within the open plan, this sculptural installation subtly softens the constraints of the original floor slab, transforming structural limitation into poetic expression.

Within the private dining rooms, the design draws inspiration from Taiwan’s high mountain ranges. The character, terrain, and shifting light of these peaks are translated into spatial narratives, allowing 85TD to transcend its role as a high-altitude urban dining venue and instead articulate a broader dialogue between architecture and the island’s landscape. The six private rooms—Yushan, Xueshan, Daba Mountain, Qilai Mountain, Nanhua Mountain, and Shaolai Mountain—each embody a distinct and monumental presence.

The Yushan Room features forest-toned textured walls and deep green natural marble, complemented by lantern-inspired pendant lighting that references Eastern aesthetics. The mirrored ceiling amplifies visual depth, reflecting panoramic city and mountain views to evoke the grandeur of Taiwan’s highest peak.

The Qilai Room adopts a palette of black and grey mineral textures. The main table and feature walls are clad in dark luxury stone infused with metallic veining, echoing the dramatic ridgelines of “Black Qilai.” The result is a spatial expression of cool strength and geological power.

Material selections throughout the space are intentionally restrained. Dark stone, antique bronze metals, and warm-toned furnishings establish a composed foundation that expresses refined grandeur. Black marble paired with brass veining reveals a quiet, understated luxury; curved wood paneling carved with mountaininspired motifs echoes the surrounding landscape; deep green velvet banquettes and brown leather seating introduce warmth among the cool stone surfaces, ensuring the atmosphere feels elevated yet inviting rather than austere.

Through 85TD, we tell a story about elevation, perspective, and refined magnificence. By day, guests overlook mountains and urban textures unfolding beneath them. By night, the glittering city skyline becomes an intoxicating backdrop. We invite diners to ascend—where, at the edge of the clouds, they share a table with the city itself.
